FIELD TRIPS – NATIONAL PARK “KOZARA”
National Park “Kozara”, 3520 hectares, it covers the Peri-Pannonian area of Outer Dinarides. It is declared as a national park in 1967, to improve the protection of cultural-historical and natural values of the mountain Kozara. Central part of NP, a member of the Federation of National Parks of Europe – EUROPARC, occupies the area of Mrakovica with several flat plateaus of 700-800 meters high. It is protected zone in which the tourist facilities are planned or have already been built.
