Dajak boat is one of major symbols of our town on river Vrbas. Long, long time ago dajak were the basic shipping boat on the river Vrbas. Now days, a group of young enthusiasts trying preserve the old tradition and show the Dajak canoe to the world.

All around the world there are a similar boats with similar steering technics but only on calm waters, rivers or lakes only on river Vrbas. Dajak boats flows despite the wild current of river Vrbas in Banja Luka. Steering dajak –it is sport, art, joy and adventure.

It is a 30-40 minutes ride, about 4 km long up and down the river. Every day from May 1st until September 30th. Nice weather conditions are crucial for this adventure.
